Today, the GrapeBelt Homeschoolers brought in a speaker from the Past and Present Museum.
The girls learned about what a paleontologist is, how to dig for fossils and various fossils that were found locally and throughout the U.S.

Here is the patern I am using- I made a “mistake” which isn’t really a mistake but kids distracted me and I ended purling when I should have knitting so my pattern is a bit different but still very nice. I’ve got one done!

It is important for children to have a sense that they belong to something bigger, connecting wih that which is divine. My girls and I will celebrate Yule this year as part of our connection to nature.
