About Me: Updated March 10, 2008
I am currently a SAHM and loving every moment of being with my three little girls. I am married to an amazing man who I have wrapped into my education world by getting him elected to the office of treasurer of CCAEYC. I have expanded to original goal of this site to include many aspects of play, as play is how children learn and can’t be separated into different compartments.
My goals for the coming year involve:
Maintaining this website
Presenting at the NYSAEYC Conference
Continuing to research play and the affects of “smart toys” on play
Continue to work with CCAEYC as President Elect
Continue to work with Starting Small: Teaching Tolerance

You might say we are “crunchy people”. We are in the process of becoming more self sufficient so that we leave less of a footprint on the earth. We try to be as earth-friendly as possible and our current goal is to expand our garden, plant more fruit trees and to completely rid ourselves of plastic bags. This journey began with my first daughter was born- she made us want to live in a world that respects the natural world. in addition to last years goal we are focusing on reusing goods instead of throwing out or buying new. It has been a great start to 2008!
