The Napping House and Other Great Books
While at the local library, I was reminded of one of my favorite books, well, one out of one hundred, The Napping House.
There are so many fantastic books, with rich themes and content, available to children from our local library! Of course, we own a ton of books (yes, I believe that if you weighed them, it would come out to a ton).
Our oldest daughter is reading now and our youngest loves books, (Gillian just loves everything)so we spend lots of money on books, but really, it is money well spent.
I am thinking of creating a “Read Along” project. The objective would be to read a book as a family and submit a brief summary, review or comment about the book. You would then suggest the next book for reading. The cycle would continue, with new books being added each week.
Well, I will work on this later, Carly girl is awake…again.
