Play Environments
I believe that I can finally say that the play room is an environment that welcomes play. I have worked on this room for several months on and off. The biggest factor in creating a welcoming environment is getting rid of clutter. I have emptied the closet, picked up misc. toys, added artwork, soft comfy blankets and now some natural elements, such as non poisonous plants and a nature table.
My next step is to take pictures of what is currently in the room so that the girls know where to put away their toys. I also have worked to baby proof the room, Erin is fairly mobile these days, which requires a whole different set of toys.
I plan to hang a mobile from the ceiling and maybe a few umbrellas for color. The girls gave their input as to the materials that are in the room and now with a vacuum the room will be done.
If pics to come
If I had some extra money, a few things a playhouse , bench .
