Bubbles, Sand and More
We made our own bubble “juice” and wands yesterday. I bought heavy gauge wire, wrapped the wire into a circle and added the whole bubble maker to a stick for the wand. Very easy and much more eco friendly and durable. I also made bubble juice with lots of JOY dish soap, sugar and water.
Sand- I am also hunting the thrift store for a wooden tray to put sand in. I believe Montessori stores sell products that use sand and fixed templates to help children develop the muscles skills needed for writing. Truthfully, I can’t remember where I saw this product but I loved it, so I have decided to replicate it for my own use.
More- I am eliminating the toys that the girls no longer use. I have spent three days pulling apart the playroom, reorganizing and revamping. I will post pictures upon completion. I am also making a baby safe environment,so that Erin has a place to play.
If you stop by tomorrow, I will post pictures of the box house the girls are creating.
