If you happen to be in a library or bookstore ask if they have a copy of The Quilt Makers Gift. My daughter received this book for her 6th birthday and we just adored it. The book speaks not only to the lost art of quilt making, but of key components of human nature and spirituality. The illustrations are bright, vivid and filled with detail.
