Gillian Turns Three and Great Friends

Yesterday, we visited our friend Faith, as she had invited us to stop by and pick grapes and veggies from her organic garden. I grew up with an Aunt and Uncle who grew grapes but this was the girls first experience with picking. I forgot the camera, so just imagine two young children picking yummy, juicy, sweet Fredonia grapes by the bunch…yep, stained, sticky and happy.

The girls got a kick out of pulling carrots and so did Mommy. Some of the carrots were absolutely huge!

We plan to make grape jelly tomorrow.

Today, brought a day of joy and tears. Gillian turned 3, at 3:33 officially. She received gifts from Grandma/Grandpa, Great-Grandma/Grandpa, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and Sis. She also received many phone calls wishing her a Happy Birthday! We had a quiet morning at home, which is good considering Bella was having trouble with sister being the center of attention. Tonight we will celebrate with dinner out and a spiderman cake.
