Homeschool Week 3
Well, Fall is upon us and with it comes a time of inner reflection as well as a focus on the world outside. Bella and Gillian are enjoying the fall weather, as are Chris and I. In the coming weeks, we will focus on the sights and sounds of fall, as well as the sights and sounds of a new sibling. (who is welcome to enter the world at any time)
Monday- Dance
Mail a letter. Bella will begin learning how to write a card/letter. With so many birthdays in September, I thought it would be nice to begin learning about the post office/postal service.
Math- Continue our work with unifix blocks. Bella has been making patterns, while Gillian has been making candy. Unifix blocks offer alot of possibilites for exploration into patterning and counting.
Tuesday- Baking. Bella will help write a recipe card for a recipe she has chosen. We will follow the instructions, practicing measuring and counting, and then bake our creation.
Wednesday- Post Office Continued
New Math activity that I need to plan.
Thursday- Homeschool Day
Friday- ?
Books- Apple Farmer Annie, Fall Is, How Do Apples grow?
